Hurtado Family Featured in Dreams for Our Children Book

At Hurtado Immigration Law Firm, we’d like to congratulate Attorney Pablo Hurtado's daughter, Monica Hurtado, for her work in Dreams for Our Children: Immigrant Letters to the Future by Omotayo Banjo.

The young Ms. Hurtado was one of the featured writers in this wonderful book on immigration. The book includes 20 letters from first- and second-generation immigrants from Mexico, Nigeria, Taiwan, and other countries across the world, all focusing on the theme: “I moved for a better life for my children.”

About Monica Hurtado

Monica Hurtado will be graduating from law school next year and hopes to practice immigration law like her father. The Hurtado family has first-hand experience with the immigration process because Attorney Pablo Hurtado himself is an immigrant from Bolivia who became a U.S. Citizen in 1996.

We hope you read Monica’s touching letter about her family by preordering a copy of Dreams for Our Children: Immigrant Letters to the Future on Barnes and Noble.

According to the reviews, the book is “poignant, powerful, and visceral” and “a must-read primer for anyone wanting to see the good and best of immigration and immigrants.”

We are so proud of Monica for her important work, and we look forward to the day she passes the bar and joins our firm.
